Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how TubeForge collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our web dashboard, YouTube management tools, analytics features, OAuth integrations, and related services.

1. Information We Collect

TubeForge collects account information you provide, such as your name, email address, profile image, workspace membership, preferences, and authentication/session information.

When you connect a Google or YouTube account, TubeForge may access YouTube channel metadata, channel identifiers, channel thumbnails, video metadata, public video statistics, YouTube Analytics metrics, YouTube Reporting API data, and OAuth account information needed to connect the channel to your workspace.

TubeForge may store workspace data you create in the app, including managed channel records, email aliases, categories, editors, settings, notes, browser-profile metadata, and API keys you configure.

2. How We Use Google and YouTube Data

TubeForge uses Google and YouTube data only to provide product functionality requested by you, including connecting a YouTube channel, displaying channel and video analytics, showing reporting metrics, comparing performance, and generating dashboard insights for your workspace.

TubeForge does not sell Google user data or YouTube API data. TubeForge does not use Google user data for advertising targeting.

TubeForge does not transfer Google user data to third parties except when necessary to provide or improve user-facing features, comply with law, protect against abuse, or as part of infrastructure providers acting on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.

3. AI and Machine Learning Disclosure

TubeForge may use AI features, including Google Gemini, to generate summaries, recommendations, and insights from analytics data that you choose to analyze.

TubeForge does not use Google Workspace API data, Google user data, or YouTube API data to train generalized AI or machine learning models. AI outputs are generated only to provide the requested feature to the authenticated user or workspace.

4. Data Storage and Security

TubeForge stores application data in a secured database. OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, analytics API keys, and other sensitive secrets are encrypted at rest.

TubeForge uses access controls, workspace isolation, rate limiting, and operational safeguards to protect your data. Workspace data is scoped by workspace, and workspace-bound API routes validate membership before returning or changing data.

5. Data Sharing

TubeForge may use service providers for hosting, database, storage, email delivery, monitoring, analytics, caching, and AI processing. These providers process data only as needed to operate TubeForge.

TubeForge may disclose information if required by law, to protect users, to prevent abuse, or to enforce our Terms of Service.

6. User Control, Revocation, and Deletion

You can disconnect a Google or YouTube account from TubeForge in the application settings or by revoking access from your Google Account permissions page at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

You may request deletion of your account, workspace data, or connected channel data by contacting support. We will delete or anonymize data unless retention is required for security, legal, billing, or abuse-prevention purposes.

7. YouTube API Services

TubeForge uses YouTube API Services. By using TubeForge features that connect to YouTube, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms and the Google Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

TubeForge's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
